Eurythmics - 17 Again

After almost twelve years from the chart, Annie Lennox and David Stewart made a huge comeback in 1999. That was the year that they released their CD "Peace". This album was produced following their first performance together in eight years at a record company party. David and Annie were approached by their label to write some new songs, with the intention of them being released on another greatest hits package. After writing several of the key tracks that would eventually make their way onto the album, the duo decided to go and make a full-length new record.

This album was a more acoustic and quieter album than their previous releases and was largely seen as part of the 80's revival seen of the late 90's. It managed to crack the top 20 in the UK and reached #25 on the Billboard Album chart.

The lead off single from this album, I Saved The World Today reached #11 on the UK Singles chart, but, failed to even crack the Top 100 in the US. However, the follow up single, which is today feature post, exploded on the dance chart in the US thanks to some awesome remixes by Thunderpuss and Peter Rauhofer.
