Poussez - Poussez!

Poussez (pronouced poo-Say) is the studio disco group assembled by Alphonse Mouzon. One of the steamier disco groups of all time. (This has to be one of my all, time, favorite, disco, groups.)

Poussez debuted in 1979 with their first album, aptly titled, Poussez!, on the Vanguard label. The album contained only 4 tracks but, they were such, huge, hits in the clubs that, 3 of them were released as 12" singles. You're All I Have, was the only song missing this distinction but, not by much. A great Disco classic by itself, it was merely overshadowed by the popularity of the other tracks. All the tracks, however, only charted from the LP according to Billboard magazine. Alphonse Mouzon's, wife, according to one source, provided the steamy, moany, vocals on the track, "Come On And Do It".

Poussez went on to release only one more album in 1980.
