Lil' Mo' Yin Yang - Reach

This group is a duo of electronic producers Little Louie Vega And Erick Morillo. Before they collaborated on this track, Little Louie Vega released Ride On The Rhythm in 1991. Vega was also a member of Masters At Work.

After this release, Morillo released and charted with his own solo track, Jazz It Up, as Erick Morillo Project in 1996. He was also a member of Reel 2 Real.

This is the only the time the two charted as a duo. This song eventually reached #1 on the dance disco chart.

Paula Abdul - Crazy Cool

You all know her from "American Idol". The ex-Laker cheerleader from San Fernando, California.

She has done alot since being a cheerleader. (And you all thought cheerleaders were BIMBOS) :-) Since breaking into the music scene, Paula Abdul has choreographed the video for Janet Jackson's Control and Tracy Ullman's TV show. In 1988, she released her debut album with great acceptance. The follow-up was OK. But, In 1995, the LP she released, Head Over Heels, simply flopped.

There was, however, two highlights on this LP. The songs My Love Is For Real, which reached #28 on the pop chart, and Crazy Cool, which reached #58.

The remixes to both these song were accepted by clubs nation wide and produce 2 big dance songs for Paula Abdul. Today, I'm posting the lesser known of the two, CRAZY COOL. The video for this song was deemed "TOO HOT" for MTV. I don't understand why, since, they didn't even play videos anymore at this time.

Wink - Higher State Of Consciousness

Wink is electronic musician/producer Josh Wink. A native of Philadelphia, he was a pioneering DJ in the American rave sene in the early 90's.

He was the most prominent exponent of the tribal forms of technow and house in the US. His current style is a mixture of techno, acid, house, and drum and bass.

Todays post topped the dance floor in Europe and reached the top 10 in America. It's a song that everyone knows. I call it the R2-D2 Orgasm Song. Listen to found out why.
